Chopped glass fibre strands are short cuts of glass fibre, which retain their ultimate yarn structure after the chopping.

Chopped glass fibre strands are made of alkali-free alumina borosilicate E-type glass fibre with a filament diameter of 6 to 13 µm.

Chopped strands are packed into PE-bags (20 kg per bag). The bags are put on wooden pallets 120 x 80 cm, 50 bags per pallet, and fastened with strips.

Glass fibre products are to be transported by covered means of transportation and to be stored in their original package in clean, dry storage places.

The best storage conditions are at a temperature between -10°C and +25°C at a relative humidity level of 55 to 85%.
